The Endangered Languages Research Cluster (ELRC) at the English Discipline of Khulna University, Bangladesh, aims to promote research, documentation, and preservation of endangered and minority languages of Bangladesh and beyond. The ELRC Board serves as the principal academic and consultative body of the Cluster, providing guidance, coordination, and collective oversight of its research activities and initiatives.
The ELRC Board comprises as following to serve as the main academic and consultative body for research coordination, collaboration, and review.

Members:
(i) All ELRC Cluster Members (Khulna University)
(ii) All ELRC Cluster Associate Members (Domestic)
(iii) All ELRC Cluster Associate Members (Overseas)
The Member Secretary shall prepare annual summaries of activities, research outcomes, and financial reports for review.
The ELRC Board shall:
Serve as the main academic and consultative body of the ELRC.
Discuss, review, and endorse research proposals, activities, progress, and outcomes submitted by the ELRC Steering Committee.
Approve annual plans, events, initiatives, budgets, and reports of the Cluster submitted by the ELRC Steering Committee.
Approve committees and sub-committees of the Cluster and their Terms of Reference proposed by the ELRC Steering Committee.
The ELRC Board shall meet at least twice a year, or more frequently as required, to review ongoing activities, discuss research progress, and plan upcoming initiatives.
The Chairperson shall convene meetings with notice circulated at least one week in advance.
The Member-Secretary shall maintain records and circulate meeting minutes.
A quorum shall consist of at least half of the total members.
Decisions shall be made by consensus or, where necessary, by majority vote.
The Committee shall report its activities and decisions to the Office of the Head of English Discipline and, where applicable, to the Office of the Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities.
The Member Secretary shall prepare annual summaries of activities, research outcomes, and financial reports for review.
Members shall serve a three-year term, renewable upon mutual agreement and approval by the Chairperson of the ELRC Board.
Membership may be revised to ensure balanced representation and expertise.
Changes to these Terms of Reference may be proposed by the Steering Committee or by a majority of the Board members, which will take effect after being approved by the Chairperson and reported to the Faculty Meeting (Academic Committee Meeting) of the English Discipline, Khulna University.
